Unit pricing

Gold Lapel uses simple unit pricing. Every database, every mesh node, every query pack is the same price. No tiers to navigate, no bundles to decipher.

Every account includes 1M queries per month at no extra cost. Beyond that, add query packs in increments of 1M.

Annual discount

Commit annually and save 20% across the board. Annual billing is a lump sum payment for 12 months upfront. The discount applies to databases, mesh nodes, and query packs equally.

Auto-upgrade

Auto-upgrade ensures your queries stay optimized when you hit your query limit. Opt in during checkout or toggle it on anytime from your account settings.

When auto-upgrade is enabled and your query limit is reached, Gold Lapel automatically adds a 1M query pack at your current monthly rate. No interruption, no manual intervention.

Without auto-upgrade, queries that exceed your limit pass through to PostgreSQL unoptimized until your next billing cycle. Gold Lapel never drops or rejects queries — it simply stops optimizing them until capacity is available again.

Free trial

Every account starts with a 14-day free trial. All features, no credit card required. Run Gold Lapel against your production workload and see exactly what it does before you pay anything.

When the trial ends, Gold Lapel switches to passthrough mode — all queries flow directly to PostgreSQL without optimization. Your application continues working exactly as it did before Gold Lapel. Add a payment method to resume optimization.

View and adjust your plan at goldlapel.com/account. Add or remove databases, mesh nodes, and query packs anytime. Changes take effect immediately — prorated for the current billing period.
